A weekend in Stockholm

After my surpricevisit to Gävle I met up with my boyfriend M and we drove (read: HE drove, I had an headache after driving from Gävle!) to Stockholm, using the GPS we found the hotel, and using my eyes I saw that the hotel wasn't where M thought it would be, it was closer and on the other side! And that tells you what?

Anyway. We parked our car infront, the Radisson hotel. And went in to check if we where at the right hotel, witch we where. So we took our things, gave the hotel our carkey and they parked our car! Fancy!! We then took the elevator up to our room.

Which was room 289, if anyone wants to know.

This is our room! We had a fancy TV...(?), a minibar and ...what does one need with a chair and desk?

Anyway, we had of cours a bed!

After setteling in (that means putting our bags in the room) we went over the street to Jensen's Bøfhus where we ordered a three cours dinner! So delicious! Sadly I have no pictures from there, I didn't even take pictures with my phone!

After dinner we (that means I!) decided that we (that means we) wanted to take a bath! I mean, if there is a bathtub there has to be a bath :)

The toilet was quite nice also!

And there were some nice small bottles of schampoo and stuff. These came with us home :) What was left of them.

After that we also went to Casino Cosmopol for a night out. I don't think casinos are that fun, but M likes them! I think it is fun for a while, and we where there for a while, so it was fun :)

The next day I first met a friend and we went shopping, if it is called shopping when nothing is bought? We also went to see the christmast decorations in the windows.

After that I went back to the hotel to check out. We peyed for the room and wanted to have our car 15 minutes later so that M could pick up some chlothes he had bought at Dressman. Because we had all our travellingmoney on my creditcard I payed for the clothes.....or I tried to pay. But there was some error....The maskin didn't accept my card? Why? We decided to try it at an ATM. So we went looking for one. We found one not far away, but it didn't work! I had some money on an other bank, so I used that card, got the money and we could pay at the store.

But why didn't it work? Where we all out of money? How could I have misscounted that bad?



Anyway, we had to say goodby to my friend and get moving to visit M:s brother for a cup of coffe. It was a nice visit, as allways :)

I, as usual, took several pictures of Tyson! I also transfered them to their computer so that they could have them also.

After that we had to say goodby to them as well, and drive all the way down to the harbour. We met a car that plows the snow of the road. I don't know why I took a picture of it though.... All the way we wondered about my bankcard. Why didn't it work? And what a luck that it didn't stop working when we where to check out from the hotel!!

After a ferryride, where we ate the buffet, I logged in to my internet bank, and found out that the mony where not transfered from my bankaccount, as we thought, but from my creditaccount!! That is why we couldn't by the clothes on kredit either! But I was so mad! I had money reserved for the trip! And everything we bought, every time I took out money, it went from my credit!! Gaaah!!

Next time we have to plan things different. Next time I will have a lot of cash when I go to sweeden, and also, have some money on the other bank, so that IF I need more money I can get them without using my creditcard!
